Hello Everyone!
Working through scatterplots and graphing stories. Assessment to be likely around Monday Oct 24th.
Note that your child will be writing EQAO, the provincial testing, in January and it WILL count towards their exam mark. I will be giving them sample questions throughout the semester, but also encourage them to go to the EQAO website and try some on their own. I typically give them an entire package of the 2013-2014 and 2012-2013 during November/December, but there are 3 other full ones that can be downloaded and printed off from:
http://www.eqao.com/en/assessments/grade-9-math
A VERY useful graphing tool is found at: www.DESMOS.com - you need an updated Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser for it to work properly. We will be using it later in the semester.
